Satoko Iyama

Born in Numazu, Shizuoka, Japan. Graduated from Tokyo College of Music with a master's degree. She studied piano under Yuko Sekine, Shun Sato, and Michal Sobkowiak. She won first place in the Rose Piano Competition, Bronze Prize at the Young Artist Piano Concour, third place in the Japan Classical Music Competition, Gold Prize and Grand Prix at the European International Piano Concours in Japan, and many others. In 2023, she performed in recital in Bern, Switzerland. Completed the Swiss Summer Music Academy Eywald and performed at the Final Concert in Bern. Currently, she is a lecturer at Tokyo Music Academy, and she opened "satoko piano lessons" in Shizuoka. She performs and gives lessons mainly from Shizuoka to Tokyo.
