Kaoru Amano

Born in August 2013 in Tokyo, Japan.

She started playing the piano at the age of 4 and studied under Shoko Sugitani and Chika Matsushima.

She has been selected as the 3rd and 4th batch of the Sony CSL Piano Academy program, studying under Dina Yoffe, Takuya Tainaka, Yui Yoshioka, Masaru Yoshitake, and Shinichi Furuya.

In May 2023, she organized ''Kaoru Amano 9-Year-Old Debut Piano Recital'' at Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, Japan, marking her official start of her career as a concert pianist. In September 2023, she won the Grand Prize and Sunphonix Prize for the Jazz Performer Division at the Japan Jazz Pop Piano Competition. 

She holds the record for being the youngest person ever to receive the following awards:

2020: 4th Romanian International Junior Music Competition, Overall Grand Prix

2021: Danubia Talents International Music Competition Online, Category A Absolute 1
